CLIMATE ACTION MEANS JOBS.
The climate crisis is real, and we have the workforce to fix it. The Great American Build is our opportunity to build back better with millions of new, good-paying union jobs and build a nation powered by clean energy.
Now is the moment for Congress to act on climate and pass the Build Back Better Agenda. America has all the tools needed to take on the climate crisis that is already ravaging cities and farmland, with fire, drought, hurricanes, heatwaves, and floods wreaking havoc on much of the country. We have the tools to create new job opportunities and bring justice for frontline neighborhoods. We just need Congress to put those tools into action.
It’s time to go big, be bold, and put people to work. We have an opportunity to rebuild a just economy, fight climate change, AND create millions of good-paying jobs in one of the fastest-growing industries in the country: clean energy. But we need to grab this moment now or risk putting more families in the path of extreme weather. The American people are demanding this change and are ready to get to work. Now Congress, it’s up to you. We can build a nation powered by clean energy if we act now.
BUILD JOBS.
This is our moment to build back better: to recover from COVID-19 and get millions of people back to work in new, clean energy union jobs. Our country needs builders, roofers, engineers, electricians, accountants, administrators, researchers, and teachers to create a cleaner, safer, healthier, more just, and prosperous America.
BUILD CLEAN ENERGY.
This is our moment to invest in the American workforce. Clean energy is one of the fastest growing industries in America and provides a huge opportunity to build back better with high-quality, union jobs that help rebuild the middle class. Building a nation powered by clean energy will bring jobs to every state across America, reduce harmful pollution in frontline communities, lower energy costs, and make the grid more reliable during extreme weather events.
BUILD JUSTICE.
We must build back better by prioritizing justice and equity for communities of color and low-income communities disproportionately impacted by COVID, the economic crisis, racial injustice, and climate disasters. The people living on the frontlines of climate change, environmental degradation, and pollution are often low-income families and people of color. We can’t afford to allow these injustices to continue as we build a nation powered by clean energy. Clean energy should instead be a key tool to ending these unfair burdens.
BUILD SAVINGS AND TACKLE INFLATION.
The Build Back Better Act will lower costs for working families. The bill’s clean energy investments will save working families $500 each year on their energy bills. That’s more money in pockets while meeting President Biden’s goal of cutting U.S. emissions in half by 2030.
LET’S GET TO WORK.
BUILD BACK BETTER.
A clean energy future is ours to build — together.
